FULL LIST OF NOMINEES  FOR GHANA DJ AWARDS 2016

With majority of nominees for the 2016 Ghana DJ Awards plying their art in the national capital, one can only wonder if the list is indeed a fair representation of what really happens on the ground. I’m not by this saying organizers must nominate people from each region JUST to make it a fair representation. Nope!! This might NEVER happen unless of course there are new categories to represent each region.

#PiloloGH - The need for you to do this

The Need For You To Do This

“Use it or Lose it?” I guess this cliche tells you something whenever you hear it. Oh yes, of course, if you do not use your body, you will surely lose it. Your muscles will become flabby and weak. The benefits of any exercise program will diminish if it is disrupted too frequently. A “stop-start” routine is not only ineffective, but can cause injuries. Being consistent with exercise, therefore, is probably the most important factor in achieving desired results. One might wonder why the need for him/her to do this. Yes! Why the need to EXCERCISE?

Exercise as we know provides so many benefits to the body. Exercise prevents or helps prevent diseases. Regular exercise is necessary for physical fitness and good health. It reduces the risk of heart diseases, high blood pressure and other diseases. When you exercise, your body uses energy to keep going which helps to improve stamina. Exercise also strengthens and tones muscles, bones and ligaments, enhances flexibility, controls weight, sharpens and smartens the brain, as well as improving the quality of life.

With all these gains that are accrued from Exercise, the Ghana National Service Personnel of Ghana Ports and Habour Authority (GPHA), in partnership with PiloloGH (a youth volunteer group) and Ghana Cement (GHACEM) is organising an entertaining and healthy Fun Games on Saturday, the sixth day of the month of February, 2015 at the GSTS Sports Complex, Takoradi, at 8:30am sharp. Participants, both gents and ladies, will efficaciously and vivacioulsy exercise through games such as football, volleyball, basketball and many other games. Come let us exercise. Come let us have fun. Come let us socialise.

Inactivity is as much as of a health risk as smoking. Exercise is Fun!!!
